Guildford Conservatives run a number of different clubs where the like-minded can enjoy political discussion, formally and informally, make new friends, meet up with old friends and raise money to allow us to carry on campaigning. Clubs include:
Guildford Supper Club: A private dining club, where speakers are invited from all walks of life, not just from politics, with four guest speakers a year. These events take place at Barnett Hill Conference Centre in Wonersh. The aim of the Club is to provide interesting, thought-provoking and entertaining speakers.
The Four Seasons Lunch Club: Aims to meet at least twice a year in locations such as Cranleigh Village Hall, St. John's Hall in Merrow, and Shalford Village Hall. Participants enjoy lunch with a variety of speakers from the political world. Recent guests include Francis Maude MP and John Gummer MP.
The 1867 Patrons Club: An exclusive members club. This is your opportunity to meet and talk with senior Conservative politicians in a small gathering. Joining fee on application.
The Conservative Policy Forum: An opportunity to have your say on present and future party policy direction. Regular policy debates on a variety of issues, with experts in the field. Guildford members have an excellent track record of real input into policy direction, we are determined this continues.
Local ward branches also hold their own events in addition. Contact us if you would like more information on any event or club. Find out how you can join the Conservatives.
