Guildford Borough Council is Conservative controlled, having been won back in 2003 after years of poor administration by the Liberal Democrats, and re-elected with an increased majority in 2007. Surrey County Council is also Conservative run.

Part of Waverley Borough Council is also in Guildford constituency, and in the 2007 local elections, Conservatives made stunning gains, winning an extra 25 seats to take control of the Council from the Liberal Democrats.

Guildford Conservatives are campaigning hard for a fair deal for everyone across Guildford, listening to the views and concerns of local residents, working with our local Member of Parliament, Anne Milton.
