The Secretary of State for Transport has published details of how £220 million will be spent to relieve congestion on the Strategic Road Network.  The schemes in this Congestion Relief Programme will be delivered quickly to relieve congestion, improve safety and help facilitate local development.

The Secretary of State for Communities and Local Govenrment has decided to "call-in" the planning application for Dunsfold Aerodrome. This means there will be a full public inquiry into the planning application.

The Government has confirmed the award of £71.1 million to Enterprise M3 Local Enterprise Partnership. The latest allocation will be used to fund housing, transport, skills development, as well as enterprise and innovation projects across the area.

Guildford's MP, Anne Milton, has launched a survey to collect constituents’ views on their local train service. The survey looks at how and why local people make their journeys, their overall travel experience, and how they feel that the service can be improved.

Local EU referendum debates hosted by Guildford's MP and local organisations

In the run up to the EU Referendum, Guildford’s MP Anne Milton is working with a number of local organisations to make sure local residents and businesses get to hear the arguments for remaining, and for leaving the EU.
