- Building a thriving local economy: parking free for the first hour in two centre car parks, clean up Guildford town centre and restore it to a place people want to visit. Support Conservative national policy to abolish business rates for high street businesses and pubs.
- Improving infrastructure and quality of life: commit to resurfacing every road that needs resurfacing with 4 years. Free garden waste collections to reduce household costs, improve recycling and reduce fly tipping. Ensure new developments are built with the right infrastructure to support our communities.
- Efficient and transparent council finances: a new efficiently-run unitary authority will mean we can bring real benefits to residents such as completely resurfacing roads and providing free garden waste collections.
