In May, Surrey residents will go to the polls to decide who runs Surrey County Council for the next four years. The responsible management of the important local services that all rely on is at stake – roads and transport, social care and health and schools and learning.
In 2017, we achieved a fantastic set of results in our area, winning 6 out of the 9 seats in our constituency. This time, we are defending those historic gains against a very different national backdrop and facing different challenges with the rise of the Residents Associations and support for the Liberal Democrats in Guildford.
It is vital that we keep Surrey Conservative; Conservative County Councils deliver better services more efficiently and a Conservative council will be in a better position to work with the Government and persuade it to continue to provide the money our area needs for infrastructure.
